Aisthorpe is just five miles from the historic city of Lincoln, an ideal destination for a city break. Visitors will be able to experience rich heritage, boutique shopping, arts and culture events and an abundance of eating and drinking establishments, with many offering award-winning Lincolnshire produce.

Visitors will be able to walk up Steep Hill, voted Britain’s Great Street, which connects ‘downhill’ and ‘uphill’. Don’t worry though, there are plenty of shops and tearooms on the hill if you need a stop for a rest!

Wander through the cobbled streets of the Bailgate and Cathedral Quarter and marvel at the Cathedral and Castle for a memorable historical experience, then visit Lincoln’s High Street, home to famous brand names and department stores.

How to get here

By Road

Aisthorpe is conveniently located just a few minutes’ drive from the A15 and A46, close to RAF Scampton. We are only an hour from Nottingham, 1½ hours from Peterborough and 2 hours 30 minutes from London.

By Train

Lincoln train station is located five miles from the Glass and Bottle and provides regular trains to London, which can be reached in less than 2 hours. Saxilby train station is just a ten-minute drive from us and is ideal for those visiting from the north and west.
